President Bola Tinubu has urged the Senate to amend Nigeria’s constitution to make provision for state police.
Tinubu made the plea during an interfaith breaking of fast (Iftar) with senators at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday evening.
The President, who said his administration is facing challenges posed by banditry, terrorism and insurgency, expressed the belief that state police could provide the solution to the problem.
