Popular Nigerian singer, Chike has revealed the marital advice his mother gave to him, sharing that she told him not to marry someone who doesn’t adds value to his life regardless of love. Speaking in a recent podcast interview, Chike disclosed that his mother advised him never to marry from a poor family or settle with an unemployed lady.
The 33-year-old explained that according to his mother, marrying from a poor family or marrying a lady whose family members are financially dependent on is a financial burden. Chike said he often interrogates ladies to see if they are from comfortable families and are productive before proposing relationship.
He advised men to think beyond sex and consider other factors before entering into relationships, especially ones with marriage potentials.
