A former Gombe governorship candidate under the African Democratic Congress during the 2023 general elections, Nafiu Bala today denied allegations of his resignation from the party which stemmed from a resignation letter purportedly issued on May 18, 2025.
In a personally signed statement today, Bala condemned the document as entirely false and deceptive, attributing its circulation to certain mischievous elements both within and outside the party, although this statement invalidates any claims of his resignation and underscores the deceitful nature of the circulated letter.
Bala however called on all party members, supporters, and the broader public to remain alert in the face of misinformation and to reject efforts aimed at sowing discord within the party ranks.
