The Anglican Diocese of Jebba has commended President Bola Tinubu for his efforts toward stabilising Nigeria’s economy but expressed concerns over the widespread hardship and insecurity facing ordinary Nigerians.

The position was part of a communique issued at the end the third session of the sixth synod of the Diocese, held from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter, Jebba, and according to a press release today, the synod was presided over by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Revd. Oluwaseun Aderogba.

The Synod also urged the Kwara State Government to intensify efforts in addressing rising insecurity in both the northern and southern parts of the state.
