Having represented Germany in various youth categories, including the U-16s, U-17s, and U-21s, Adeyemi made his senior debut for the German national team in a 6–0 victory over Armenia in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on September 5, 2021, scoring his first goal for the senior team as a late substitute in injury time. Despite being named in the German squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Adeyemi did not appear in any matches, as Germany exited the tournament in the group stage. His last appearance for the German national team was in 2022 against Hungary.
