The Edo State Government has partnered with the German Embassy to strengthen the agricultural sector, which is in line with the governors passion for food security in the state.
Special Adviser on Agriculture and Food Security to Governor Monday Okpebholo, Golden Ugbodu, who stated this today,said he held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Johannes Lehne, where the decision was reached.
The areas of cooperation between Edo state and the German Embassy include the use of industrial machines for large-scale farming and processing, attraction of investors to take advantage of the lucrative agribusiness opportunities in Edo State and export.
