Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested 74 suspected internet fraudsters in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The suspects were apprehended today at Joyous Hotel in Nyanya, a suburb of the capital city, following credible intelligence linking them to internet-related crimes.
According to a statement by the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, items recovered during the operation include 86 mobile phones, a rifle pistol, and three motorcycles.
However, the suspects would be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
