Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, a governorship aspirant in Ogun State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, has hailed President Bola Tinubu’s strong commitment to strengthening democracy and providing the requisite leadership to make the country great again.
Iyabo’s commendation in a statement on Tuesday, in which she disclosed what transpired during her visit to Tinubu in Lagos.
The former Commissioner for Health and Senator who represented Ogun Central between 2007 and 2011 described her meeting with the President as very fruitful and memorable, as their discussion centred on leadership and the further development of the country.
Speaking about her desire to succeed Governor Dapo Abiodun in 2027, Obasanjo said, she has been part of the political landscape of this state for many years and I understand the aspirations and challenges of our people.
