A founding member of the People’s Democratic Party, Prof. Jerry Gana, has claimed that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi would defeat any contender in Nigeria’s northern states if he contested on the PDP platform. He made this known in an interview on Wednesday, further saying that Peter Obi under the PDP will defeat any candidate.
Reflecting on the PDP’s roots, the PDP Chieftain reminded Nigerians of the party’s grassroots strength and its pivotal role in restoring democratic governance.
Recall that Peter Obi quit the PDP in May 2022 to lead the Labour Party during the 2023 elections.
