The Nigeria Police Force said it has rescued five kidnapped victims, killed five suspected kidnappers, and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during recent operations in Kebbi and Abia states.
In a statement today, Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed that the breakthroughs were achieved through coordinated security operations involving police operatives, other security agencies, and local vigilantes.
He added that two other victims, Tukur Bello, 26, and Isyaka Abubakar, 25, were also rescued in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area during a routine patrol on August 15.
