The Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has announced that the enforcement of tinted glass permits will begin nationwide on October 2, 2025, as disclosed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Shi’isu Adam, in a statement made available to journalists on Saturday in Dutse.
According to him, online registration and application for the permits is ongoing, and members of the public are urged to follow the stepwise process on possap.gov.ng.
Adam said that applicants must create an account using their NIN, BVN, or TIN, verify their account via email, then log in to select the Tinted Glass Permit service, upload their vehicle details along with supporting documents.
He added that after the application, vehicle inspection, and fingerprint biometric capturing will be scheduled at the designated Nigeria Police Force Intelligence Departments, further saying that Fbiometric capturing would be done free of charge at the State Intelligence Department, Police Headquarters, Dutse.
