A nationwide protest led by the Take-It-Back Movement and other civil society organisations has commenced in Abuja.

‎Members of the Take-It-Back Movement demonstrate in Abuja over inflation, insecurity, and alleged repression.

‎ Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, was sighted at the protest ground, lending support to the cause.

‎However, In a statement issued on Friday, TIB’s National Coordinator, Juwon Sanyaolu, said the protest was necessary to resist what he called the “increasing authoritarianism” of the government and to demand relief for Nigerians amid biting inflation and insecurity.
