Getafe will look to sign Umar Sadiq from fellow LaLiga club, Real Sociedad, at the end of the season.

Sadiq has endured another underwhelming season at Real Sociedad after a troubled campaign last term.

The Nigeria international was sidelined for around seven months last season after undergoing surgery for a ligament injury.

The big striker has featured mostly as a substitute for Real Sociedad this season.

Sadiq has scored three goals in 26 league appearances for his club.

Getafe, according to Football Espana, are ready to offer to him a lifeline by taking him on loan for the 2024/25 season.

Jose Bordalas’ side want a replacement for Enes Unal, who joined Bournemouth in January.
