Legendary Nollywood actor, Kola Oyewo, has opened up about his battle with prostate enlargement. He made this known during actor Kunle Afod’s visit to his residence.

Speaking about his disappearance from the screen, the 80-year-old actor stated that the illness has restricted him from acting certain roles. Narrating how it all started, Oyewo explained that he was diagnosed after experiencing sleepless nights and frequent urination among other symptoms.

Recall that Oyewo joined the movie industry in 1964, gaining popularity with The Gods are not to blame and Sango. He was also a lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, in Ile-Ife, Osun State, from 1996 till he retired in 2011.
